The Living Space

The spacious living room has two sofas (one including a double bed), dining table and chairs, coffee table, single couch bed, bookshelves, storage, TV, DVD player, and a stereo.  There is a wide selection of books for you to read while relaxing there or in the garden.

Being at the coast and on the harbour the climate of the apartment is generally ideal but, for your comfort in the cooler season, there are gas and electric heaters.  The French windows allow for ample light.  If by chance you should feel the heat in the summer, there are fans.  The apartment faces north – the ideal orientation in the southern hemisphere.  In the summer the apartment remains cool, however in winter, the sun pours in to warm the apartment.  We get plenty of sun in winter!

 

The Kitchen

The kitchen has been recently renovated and features a new cherry red tiled splash back  with a horizontal strip of mirror above the benchtops - reflecting the views of the garden and water.

The kitchen is equipped with a  gas stove top, electric oven & grill, electric frypan, microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator and freezer, double sink, dishwasher, a variety of pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses - including for champagne!  The kitchen also offers wide capacious drawers, plus cupboards and open shelving.

Why not use the outside barbecue for lunch or dinner on the patio or lawn?  Invite your guests, or perhaps fish & chips on the beach appeals?

The Bedroom

The bedroom has a king size bed, or two extra-long singles when separated.  There are also two folding beds suitable for children.  There is a clock radio, reading lamps on the bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and wardrobe for when you unpack!

Outside the bedroom is a large cupboard with more hanging and shelf space plus a plentiful supply of bed linen, blankets, doonas, towels, beach-towels, picnic/cooler bags, an iron and ironing board, plus storage for your suitcases.

The spacious bathroom has a fresh and relaxed ambience, featuring a bath and shower and other usual fittings, as well as shelves and storage.

Ample supplies of fresh towels, linen and bedding is available to you.

The Laundry

The laundry is situated near the kitchen.  The facilities include a deep sink, large capacity washing machine, and a tumble dryer.  There are also drying racks and an outdoor hanging / washing line.

Outdoor Patios

Outside the lounge room, undercover, you will find two comfortable outdoor chairs and a sandstone coffee table, overlooking the garden. This is a lovely spot, to sit back, relax with a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. There is larger patio with a central Angophora tree, umbrella, outdoor table, chairs, and a gas BBQ – a great place for breakfast and lunch!

On a balmy summer’s night, invite some family or friends, slap up a typical Aussie spread of prawns and steaks on the barbie!

The Gardens

There is loads to explore in the gardens that surround the property on various levels. From the magnificent view and lush environment that will greet you as you arrive, down past, jasmines, jacarandas, bougainvilleas and banana palms to wisteria, agapanthus, tree ferns and agaves, canna lilies, azaleas and camellias, not to mention the many Australian native plants and even night-flowering cactus. It really is a corner of paradise!

Fauna

The garden and surrounding trees, shrubs and flowers are full of life, daily. From kookaburras to rainbow lorikeets, from crested pigeons to cockatoos, listen, tread carefully and keep your eyes open, for blue-tongued lizards, night visiting brush-tail and ring-tail possums.
